The Brief
A family holiday home in Portugal. The owners love bold art, eclectic furniture, and mixing design influences from around the world. They wanted interiors that felt luxurious but genuinely theirs.
This is a house for dinner parties, lazy afternoons, and big family gatherings. Every room had to hold up to all of it.

The Approach
A live-edge walnut dining table anchors the space, surrounded by plush upholstered chairs beneath a contemporary globe chandelier. In the living area, a cowhide rug, layered cushions, and a bold pop art piece set the character. Nothing matches in the obvious sense, but it all holds together.
“The best rooms feel collected, not decorated. Like someone interesting lives here.”
The Result
Contemporary, comfortable, and a little playful. The hanging bubble chairs by the window have become the family’s favourite spot. The whole space feels like it belongs to these particular people, which is exactly the point.
